The Bachelorette Season 12 Premier Recap/Discussion

Image
WARNING: This contains spoilers in regards to the first episode of The Bachelorette. Do not read on if you do not wish to be spoiled. Also this contains a 17 year old giving her opinions on said 'love'. This advice should not be taken seriously as said 17 year old is most definitely NOT a trained professional.  I've not been this excited since, well the premier of The Bachelor! So Theresa and I sat down and watched the first episode together and man oh man oh man. I can't watch the rest of the season because our dear friend Sarah is in freakin Italy so we need to wait for her. We only watched the first episode just so I could write this. I'll probably write only a recap for the first episode, a recap before the finale and then a finale recap. I am so excited for this season! I love that Jojo is the Bachelorette. She and Amanda were my two picks and after her whole ordeal with Ben, I'm glad that it's Jojo. Also I loved how when she talks about Ben, sh

Mid-May Book Haul

I just want to let you know that I'm really missing my red hair this week. I spent a week clearing book shelves because I've got too many books and have a problem HAHA. I'm actually not sure how I have managed to accumalate so many books in one month, but I'll just blame it on my blog and how I needed to put up a blog post! (Now that's responsibility kids). That being said, I feel the need to share this with you because I really love this meal and can actually cook this! (I can actually be bothered to cook is what I mean) So let me share with you, how to make brown rice salad!  Ingredients:  - 1/2 cup of brown rice (I mean really, just cook how much rice you want but for a proper meal, such as lunch, I cooked half a cup)  - chicken (this is obviously optional) - 1/4 cup of peas  - 1/4 cup of corn  - 1/4 of a red capsicum  - 1 chopped chilli (this is optional) - 1/2 of a small red onion - 1/2 an avocado - squeeze of 1/4 of a lemon - sprinkle of salt and pepper - strand of chopped coriander - a bit of lettuce (I mean how do you measure lettuce? You can't exactly say 1/4 of a bloody lettuce can you?) Me
