Hey hey hey! Oh look another book review about a Rainbow Rowell novel. The only other book review I've ever done on my blog was a Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and really I should write a book review on a book by a different author but really I read Carry On and nearly burst out in tears just out of a mixture of confusionism (I'm aware this isn't an actual word), happiness and awe. It's just really easy to review because there are so many layers to this novel. Hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas/New Year and that 2016 brings you all the best. Read The book I have read is Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult. I've spoken about this in my book haul and well it is quite a good book. Picoult's writing is so intricate that it continues with such a rhythmic flow that it's impossible to not enjoy her writing. This book is about Delia, who lives a charmed life. She lives with her daughter, her father and is soon to be married to her fiance, Eric and alongside them, their best friend, Fitz. Soon she learns that the life she holds dear, is not the whole truth. Her father gets arrested for kidnapping Delia from her mother when she was younger. Delia comes to learn that she's not really Delia but is actually Bethany who's mother didn't die when she was four. This is not the typical book that I would us...

You know those books that you want to read that you've placed at the back of your mind? You've either got the books on your shelf or every time you go past the library or a book store you remind yourself that you've got to pick that one up and then go and pick up another book. Well I understand. I've got a whole bunch of books that I have been telling myself I need to read and then never read. I've had a load of time on holiday to think about what I want to read (see picture below) so, really more for my own benefit, I have compiled a list of books/series that I want to read in 2016. Now that my exams are over, I've been doing a catchup on all the reading I should've done over the year. I got a job solely so I can buy more books. Which I have obviously been doing. Firstly I would like to point out that you don't have to always buy books at an expensive price. A lot of these books I've bought from second hand stores. The book depository, which I'm sure you've heard of if you love reading, is essential for buying books new for a cheaper price and they do free postage! So if you really want new books for a cheaper price then the book depository is the way to go. I bought all these over a range of different places, some second hand some new. This book is essentially my life and it has completed me in so many ways that my heart is just bursting as we speak. This is the first of Rowell's novels that I have read and it has really captured my heart. So I obviously had to write a blog post about it. No-spoiler edition: When I read this book, I found it really easy to relate to all aspects of it. It is about two twin sisters, Cath and Wren who live with their sort of messed up father. They're very close sisters and have done next to everything together up to this point. They've both just graduated and they're both going to the same university but Wren no longer wants to share a room with Cath anymore. Cath is now left alone to fend for herself and she has to try and work out this whole college life without her sister.
