Favourite Beauty Products in 2015
This year is slowly coming to an end, which is insanely hard to believe because I feel as if it's just started. It's been a year of using new products all over the place which is beneficial to everyone! So without further ado, here are some of my favourite products this year.
Smith Street Scented Body Cream
I usually hate anything that includes rubbing cream on my body. It makes me feel gross and so sticky so I just avoid it and let my legs look incredibly dry. The brand Smith Street however, is so smooth and airy that I can use it without feeling like BLEH. It's such a nice cream and I've also tried the body wash and I really like them too. I love how they have a little story on the front of all their products. I don't know where to get this from (which is kind of bad because I don't know how to re-purchase it now) because someone bought this for me. I have two in the scents of cherry and pineapple. I probably like the cherry one more because it just has an appealing scent. I don't know how anyone can not like this scent. The pineapple is also a really nice smell but its a more fruity smell whereas the cherry one leans more towards a perfume smell. Both are really nice Summer smells (It's Summer here in Australia) and makes my skin feel so smooth. I highly recommend it!
Vasse Virgin Moisturiser
I stumbled over this on accident when I was in Dunsborough earlier this year and we went to this place that speacialises in olive oil. My mum picked up this moisturiser and said we should try it so we decided to get it. It smells so good! Mine is olive oil based with mandarin and vanilla extract. Once again its a really light cream so my face isn't constantly feeling gluggy. Olive oil is also really good for your skin and it smells so good. If you don't like citrus smelling things don't worry, it does come in other scents. This is so good that I don't even wear foundation when I'm wearing this, I just put a light dust of my MAC powder over my face and Bob's your uncle. It is really pricey though, it was around $30-35. So it's not the most budget friendly product.
OGX Coconut Water Shampoo/Conditioner
This shampoo feels so nice on my hair I love it so much! It leaves such a nice smell. It is a little bit on the pricey side but it is totally worth it. My hair is just left feeling so much healthier. Coconut water does does a lot for your hair, it prevents split ends, helps your hair grow faster and gives your a shine and lustre. Natural ingredients like coconut and tea tree oil really do a lot for your hair. So whenever you get a hair shampoo or conditioner, I urge you to get one with something natural like coconut water.
Clerasil Pimple Cream
Everyone gets pimples. You can't help it. But sometimes you just get that stupid giant pimple that is basically a mountain on your face. And then the next day or that night you've got an event to go to like a date or you're going out and you just want/need to look hot. Then this cream is the way to go! You need it. Whenever there is a small village on your face, this cream will fix it. It is a miracle worker.
Exuviance Rejuvenating Face Masque
Now this is also the best thing ever created. This is when your face suddenly breaks out in pimples. I know when I get really stressed I get a lot of pimples everywhere! One of my friends can't drink coffee without breaking out. However, using this face mask literally strips you of all the bad crap on your face. It sort of stings your face a little however there is a small price to pay for beauty.
Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex
I like to use this when I'm feeling really tired. I just sort of put a little bit on around my eyes and cheek areas in the night. It just makes look a little less...dead. Even though it's in my favourites I wouldn't really recommend it to a high extent. However if you're one of those people who by the end of the day just looks like you've run ten marathons then this is a really great cream for you
MAC 'Diva' Lipstick (A93)
This is my go-to lipstick! You've got no idea how good this lipstick is. I don't buy a lot of high end products ever because it's just not affordable but this is really worth it. It's a dark, berry shade that's matte. The staying power on this is so good. I had this on for my graduation lunch and we ate at a buffet so I had three plates of food (I feel as if I'm just embarrassing myself at this stage), and by the end the colour was still noticeable in photos and everything! The packaging reminds me a bit of a tampon though. Because my skin is tanner however, it doesn't show up as dark as it looks. It's still pretty dark but you can obviously control how much you want on your lips. The photo is me being really careful so not much appears. Also please notice my new hair is red. I love it so much.
Rimmel 'Coral' Blush (190)
I had to buy a blush at the beginning of the year because I didn't have a proper blush. I just picked this up randomly and actually grew to love it! If you've got darker skin like me it actually looks really nice on your cheeks. Not very pink that it's obvious but more of subdued pink! I can't remember the price but it is actually really affordable.
Fig and Papaya Scented Candles
This isn't even a beauty favourite but every girl loves scented candles. However, most scented candles cost what half a kidney would cost. And that's just not financially smart. However, I've discovered these beautiful smelling candles from K-Mart smell great and they are only like $1 or $2. I suggest everyone go and invest in these because the smell of them spreads so well.

So this is it. All the beautiful things I've loved over the year. I hope everyone has had a good 2015 and an even better 2016
Much Love
