A Beautiful Island: Langkawi!

Hello!

I went to Langkawi for a little bit after Christmas and I can say I've fallen in love. When I am sick of this world, I will be going to Langkawi to live with a ginger cat and golden retriever. That is all I want out of life. But seriously, Langkawi is beautiful and I love it so much. It's away from everything that it's so easy for you to forget whatever is going on in your life - which is slightly the point of a holiday if you ask me. Whether it be, going back to work or even the small things like changing your pair of contact lenses, Langkawi actually makes you forget about all that.

I stayed at the Sunset Beach Resort which is near/in (I can't remember which) the Pantai Cenang area. This area is pretty nice to stay at because everything is in walking distance, which is something you'd definitely want in Langkawi because driving is a headache and a half. There's nowhere to park. It's near staples of Langkawi such as Underwater World and a lot of Duty Free shops. There are also places around there to buy groceries and go for some food to eat.

Pulau Dayang Banting (when translated it means Island of the Pregnant Maiden), one of the islands we went to island hopping. Home of Dayang Bunting Lake which is very majestic. 

Langkawi Cable Car (you wait hours for this thing)

The wait for the cable car was so long I had to busy myself somehow.

All in all, Langkawi was really lovely. I loved all the exciting things to do and the area we stayed at.

My 5 Minute Spring Make-Up Look

I am always in a rush. And I absolutely HATE HATE HATE being late. I never have the time to do my make-up because I'm really lazy and always rushing out the door. If I'm honest, I rather sleep in than do my make-up in the mornings. But sometimes you just need to put something on to look a bit more lively. L'Oreal True Match Foundation (shade: Cappuccino 8W) This does not feel like a foundation to me. It is super creamy and feels really nice on your skin. But at the same time, it doesn't make my skin look oily (and I get such oily skin). It's got medium coverage even though it has a lightweight consistency. Which is perfect for the summer, because I don't really want to be piling heavy amounts of makeup on myself in the hot sun. But when I do a bit more coverage I can build this foundation up. Malaysian Clothes Haul

Now who does not love clothes? In Malaysia, this has been my chance to buy a lot and I mean A LOT of clothes. I spent my time at high street shops such as H&M and Forever 21 because they DON'T HAVE THEM WHERE I LIVE. So I need to make the most of it. Just a little side note, all of the prices are all in ringgit which is the Malaysia currency. I'm going to share with you some of the things that I have bought and also how I would wear them in my daily life. Hope you enjoy!
